Fauzia Ilyas is a Pakistani human rights activist and founder of the Pakistan’s very first nonbeliever’s organization Atheist & Agnostic Alliance Pakistan. As an open atheist and apostate of Islam, she courageously put herself in a very vulnerable position by giving voice to her conviction, all this in an environment where her ideas are not tolerated. She was accused of blasphemy and was confronted with death threats, forcing her to flee to the Netherlands. Fauzia will share with us the vulnerabilities that religion and belief entail.
